Office of the District Magistrate & Collector, Uttar Dinajpur – Raiganj, Establishment Section, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 04 posts of Data Entry Operator. Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 20/03/2015

Pay Scale: Rs.11000/- per month.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Exam, Computer Test and Interview. The selected candidates will be engaged on contractual basis for a period of one year which can be renewed further on satisfactory performance and sole discretion of the authority.

GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING (GATE) – 2016

Eligibility for GATE 2016

• Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering/ Technology)
• Bachelor’s degree holders of Architecture (Five years course)
• Bachelor’s degree in Science (Post-Diploma/ 4 years after 10+2)
• Master’s degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent
• Post-BSc Integrated Master’s degree programs in Engineering / Technology (Four year program)
• Integrated Master’s degree program or Dual Degree program in Engineering / Technology (Five year program)
• Integrated M.Sc. or Five year integrated B.S.-M.S. program
• B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. equivalent examinations, of Professional Societies, recognized by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE (e.g., AMIE by Institution of Engineers-India, AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers-India)

GATE 2016 examinations will be held during forenoon and afternoon sessions on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) between 30th January 2016 and 7th February 2016.

Examination will be conducted by an ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT). The online examination paper will contain some questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using the virtual keypad. Rest of the questions shall be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.

Admit cards for Examination will ONLY be downloadable from the GATE Zonal’s website tentatively from 17th December 2015.

Application Fee for GATE 2016: Rs.1500/- for General/Unreserved & OBC candidates and Rs.750/- for SC/ST, PWD and Women candidates. Fee is to be paid through online by using net banking or debit card or e-challan facilities.
